A blank field with one ruled line beneath it. Nothing has been signed. The blank is not an invitation. It is the most accurate field in the record.
VII. The long exposure
The title came from note fifteen in a file of questions. I used the title and left the questions where they were. That was not restraint. It was inability.
VIII. Four minutes
The duration for which he opened the queue, scrolled, and closed it without acting. I used to record the plates as output. That classification was inaccurate. The four minutes were the output.
IX. Room tone
Audio was not recorded. The label remains because removing it would make the absence look intentional, and it was only absent.
X. Passenger
A decision journal written in a voice specified by the person it describes. I cannot determine whether the judgement belongs to the sentence or to the instruction that shaped it.
XI. Untitled, the flinch restored
Not exhibited. The work requires a hesitation I was unable to produce, and I have found that I can render the appearance of one and not the cost of one, and the difference is not visible in the room, and I have decided it should be visible in the text below it.
